Garam masala [from Hindi गरम मसाला ] is a blend of ground spices originating from India. It is common in Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Caribbean cuisines. It is used alone or with other seasonings.
Ingredients: Often contains cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper, and sometimes also coriander, cumin, black and green cardamom, ginger, bay leaf, nutmeg, fenugreek, or mace.
